Hey friends. Sarah here.
I’ve had a lot of people asking me lately, so I want to officially say: No! The Write Now podcast is not dead! It simply got… a little neglected this year as my life went through some radical changes.
Some (most?) of you know that I have a second podcast — an audio drama called Girl In Space — and that it has seen some pretty solid success. It has led to speaking gigs, book deals, and OTHER EXCITING THINGS that I’m not allowed to talk about yet (but I will soon)!
As I reflected on the wrought-iron cauldron of insanity that was 2018, I realized that I’d had the best year of my creative writing career, as well as the most successful year for my business, and it was all due to… podcasting.
Upon further reflection, it made sense — podcasting isn’t saturated like the worlds of blogging and book publishing, and growing exposure is creating a growing listenership. It’s a fantastic place for writers to gain an audience, develop their voice, and build their authority.
If podcasting is something you’ve ever thought about trying, or would like to try, I’d highly encourage you to give it a shot. And if you’re not sure where to start, I am happy to help!
I’m offering a series of three FREE live podcasting classes online this month. We’ll be talking about the 5 secrets of podcasting I didn’t know when I first started, marketing tips for creators, and a no-holds-barred Q&A!
If this sounds interesting to you, you can sign up to attend right here for free:

Thanks as always for reading. I hope all is well with you and I look forward to everything 2019 has in store for us. Especially new episodes of Write Now. 🙂
Words & warmth,
Sarah
