I’m excited to announce that I’ve been invited to give a TEDx talk!
I’ll be speaking about “When You Can’t Help Everyone”, a topic I’ve struggled with for years. As many of you know, my dad is a pastor, and raised me to be a “helper” — to serve and put others first, no matter what. But with 9+ billion people on the planet, helping everyone — or even everyone you meet in life — isn’t exactly feasible.
So how do we put limits on service without feeling inadequate? Whom do we decide to help with our limited energy and resources? And how do we find satisfaction despite never being “enough”?
I’ve spent weeks now putting together this talk, and I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned and discovered with you on April 11, 2019.
Tickets are sold out, but a video will be available on the TED YouTube channel, so I’ll be sure to share that link with you when it’s available!
Words & warmth,
Sarah
