Oh my gosh. I want to thank all of you for nominating and voting for Girl In Space in the 2019 Audio Verse Awards. We took home three (!!!) awards this year, and I am just so incredibly overjoyed that this weird little show we made could have such an amazing impact.
The Audio Verse Awards are an annual celebration of the very best in audio fiction (a.k.a. audio drama or fictional podcasts) from all over the world. They’ve been running since 2013, and open up nominations every September.
For the 2019 award season, Girl In Space won:
- Best Writing of an Audio Play Production: Sarah Rhea Werner for Girl In Space
- Best Performance of a Leading Role in an Audio Play Production: Sarah Rhea Werner as X in Girl In Space
- Best Audio Play Production: Girl In Space

Girl In Space has been nominated for the Audio Verse Awards in the past, but this is our first time winning. We also took home the title of Best Audio Drama from the Discover Pods Awards in 2018.
