I have a short, simple reflection for you this week. I was taking a social media webinar last week with Amie McNee, and she said something really surprising — and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since.
She said, “I had to BE the author I wanted to be in order to BECOME the author that I wanted to be.”
Wait a sec. Read that again: “I had to BE the author I wanted to be in order to BECOME the author that I wanted to be.”
I know a lot of us (including myself) are waiting for “someday”. Someday, when things are different, when we can finally become the creator we always dreamed of becoming. But that BECOMING starts now. Not six years down the road. Not six weeks from now. Now.
What does it mean for YOU to be the creator you want to be right now… in order to BECOME the creator you’ve always wanted to be?
